Little did I realize that she had a really specific look that she was going for...I mean REALLY specific.One of the issues we were having is that she wanted green mini cymbidium orchids because she saw them at some party she went to a few months ago. Finding exactly what she wanted was not easy and I typed "mini cymbidium" into Amazon thinking that maybe I could find artificial flowers to get exactly what she wanted. I was a little surprised to find actual mini cymbidiums listed on Amazon from Flower Muse. Kudos to Amazon for getting wholesale flowers on the site. The orchids were perfect; we made a big arrangement with four stems and then used the flowers from the fifth stem to make little "floating" arrangements in water with some bowls we had around the house.
I've always loved flowers and it was fun to be able to make arrangements with something a little different like mini cymbidiums; it definitely did not look like we got the flowers from a supermarket (which was really important to the guest of honor!). The flowers still look great in our house (she forgot to take them with her when she left - lucky for me).
We will be purchasing her wedding flowers from Flower Muse on Amazon as well...more mini-cymbidiums!
