(More customer reviews)Everyone who sees this cup comments on how lovely it is- and I agree, which is how I ended up with yet another travel mug. But it does have some aspects that make it a little more annoying than your average travel mug. For one, the little tea pot which you can wind your teabag string around makes the cup a bit hard to wedge into the pocket of my messenger bags when am done drinking from it. The little tea pot has occasionally popped off as I attempted to slide the cup into my bag's pocket, or I've wound up engaging in an annoying wrestling match. Also, the inability to seal the top makes for some occasional splashing, and the lid doesn't always stay on for me. I've found myself tugging at it to force it back onto the cup in a prolonged struggle, every now and then.
If you're going to simply be traveling with this in a car and not trying to tote it around in a bag, it's probably perfect. It's the stowing away part that makes it a bit more unwieldy. If your trek with this cup is from home - car- work desk, most likely none of my caveats will apply.
