(More customer reviews)Do your own research. Apparently there are two strains or subspecies of BT (Bacillus Thuringiensis), and this one (kurstaki) is only for moth larvae and caterpillars. The strain for gnats, small fly, and mosquito larvae is a different one (israelensis). I read a previous seemingly informative review on this product, which in fact endorsed it for my problem - fungus gnats in household plants. (As does the listed description - "Worm Killer and Gnat Control") Largely based on that review I purchased Thuricide, but on its arrival found that the application guide didn't mention gnats. Doing more investigation led to an extension office handout (university based) explaining about the different strains. I'm still confused about the review, but believe it is inaccurate! Bottom line seems to be sure to get Bacillus Thuringiensis subspecies israelensis for gnats!
