We put his feet into the mold (which you do should do first- do lettering and mosaic pattern after, especially w/ kids). Comes w/ stamps for lettering and numbers, which I loved! Makes writing SO much easier. My only complaint was stirring the stone mixture was really hard with the wood stirrer that comes with it. Definitely need a cheap disposable paint bucket and more paint stirrers before get started. We put the stone in my dad's garden and the stone really looks amazing surrounded by the plants and flowers. I am ordering a second one for my garden.
