Voodoo Lily 1 Bulb - Dracunculus vulgaris - Indoors/Out Review

The seller of this plant may be misleading you by recommending this as an indoor plant. Let me warn you that when this plant blooms it gives off a horrid odor resembling that of dung or of a corpse as a means to attract flies which pollinate it. I would recommend planting the voodoo lily away from any entrance ways and windows so you can spare yourself from the incredibly unpleasant odor which occurs as it blooms. The odor does dissipate after a few days. If you can avoid the odor this is a very interesting beautiful plant.

Known as the Dragon Arum. Large crimson red flower with tall black pistels. Heirloom 1853.
Great for the tropical garden; early summer flowering, followed by scarlet berries; very striking! The Voodoo Lily also makes an excellent house plant.

Cascade Pink Orchid Petunia 25 Seeds - Annual Review

No, germination was really good but it doesn't matter now when "Cascade Pink Orchid" petunia turn to be simple purple/pink and doesn't want to "cascade"
The question is why I spent all this money for this seeds, for soil, for light, for heating mat etc if I just can buy such things in wall-mart?! - could be cheaper and no bitter feelings.
I spent for Hirts seeds about 200$! One tomato definitely won't be round and white as promised. I can see this already.
Very disappointed.

IRIS: Iris is a genus of between 200-300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species. A must have perennial, the iris tolerates wet, boggy areas and is very adaptable to a variety of soil types.
One of the most easily grown Iris, originating from Northern Asia. Does well under all types of weather conditions. Best grown in a moist soil but will tolerate dryer conditions. They begin blooming after the Bearded Iris but before the Japanese Iris. Flowers are held on strong stems above the attractive, narrow, lance like leaves. Originally, only the deep violet blue was available, but now we are able to add many colors which have the same fine naturalizing habits as the original.
