(More customer reviews)It's foam. I bought it to be used in filling my humidifier device for my Humidor. The gel stuff that had come with it was rubbish. I was able to easily carve out a piece that suited my needs... it wasn't the cleanest of tasks I've performed with foam, but that is unavoidable I suppose with this type of foam. As a part of a humidifying device, it has worked exceptionally well. Before using it my humidor (which is a 7 drawer up 300 cigars humidor) would rarely go above 63% humidity. Now It stays a constant 70% - 71%. This foam worked 100% perfect for my intention... though I realize very few of you will be purchasing this for the same uses as I did.
