(More customer reviews)We would have loved to have marble, but it was not cost-effective. For resin this is quite nice. It takes most of a bag of sand to fill the base, for stability, and we have had no problem with it tipping over. The bowl is somewhat shallower than we would have liked, but the birds enjoy it. Finches, sparrows, blue jays, mockingbirds, and even baltimore orioles are using it. My hubby spends hours just watching the feeders and birdbath!
