It is so adorable and she is going to love it when she opens it on her birthday! The stem is flexible and can be wrapped around a bed post (in her case, a ballet bar) or anywhere you want it. The sound quality is consistent with a speaker for children. It gets a little distorted if it is too loud but that is perfect for us because it prevents her from playing her music too loud! I love it and she will too.
