(More customer reviews)What a lovely night light with a pale pinkish glow! The bulb base is pink with an on/off switch. The pictured product shows the nightlight against a black background. However, when I plugged it in, I noticed there is a moderate amount of backlighting that fans out from behind, especially if situated against a pale colored wall, partly because the nightlight is not quite as curved as some. To reduce this, I may replace the existing clear bulb with a pink or white opaque one. I have it in the kitchen, where this slightly brighter nightlight seems to work best. My particular taste in nightlights is "the dimmer the better", but it really is quite pretty and I would buy it again.
