(More customer reviews)I like glass coasters because they are easy to clean: pop them in the dishwasher and forget about it. They are made to get messy from condensation and take spills from drippy cups or glasses, so getting dirty is expected. I need them less for decor but functional to keep water from messing up my tables.
They don't look bad at all.
The con is glass can break. You may not like the style, so choose one you do like. Glass gets scratched.
These coasters are big, more mug size not drinking glass size, ~ 3" diameter. They have sticky feet so it sits firm without sliding. Alas, its glued on feet may come off if repeatedly washed in a dishwasher, but glass is very easy to hand clean: just soak in soapy water to get stubborn gunk off, leave for a while, wipe, rinse and drip dry.
The decorations are etched or sandblasted so its permanent and won't come off.
The coaster holder is cheap looking, but functional. I don't care if it broke, its next to useless. I use the coasters constantly and can stack them anywhere, so the holder just uses up space doing nothing. The etching design is a little rough around the edges, very much like mass produced, so all together deduct 1 star for esthetics.
There are several decorative one's in this series, but some reviews have them break during shipping. Not these, for some reason. I received them as others have, entirely intact.
I'd buy it again when it breaks. Good value. I'd rather have dripped fused glass feet that won't come off, but such feet are also not as grippy. So good trade off.
