(More customer reviews)Ordered the Danish Flag somniferum 1,500 seeds and I am happy to say they arrived quickly and were in good condition. Also got a gift pack of seeds as a bonus as well : ) It is still a bit early to plant them yet but I germinated a 100 or so just to see how they would do and they are growing nicely. One thing I would recommend is to to not use Peat pellets to germinate if possible but rather to plant them right into packed high quality potting soil. Believe it or not I had good luck with Miracle grow moisture control soil (even though I am not a fan of miracle grow products) and or FOXFARM planting soil... If possible dig a 3'-4' deep trench and plant them in the ground because you can plant them in pots but they tend to grow better in the ground and although others have had trouble transplanting I find if you transplant them from a peat pellet to a pot or into the ground they don't die off as much and have an easier time adjusting to the transplant. If you do use peat pellets to germinate make sure to rip open the fabric on the bottom of the peat pellet because the roots cannot break through them on their own when they are small and if you don't transplant them when they are about 1/4" tall they get root bound and die. I also added a teaspoon of vitamin B1 to a gallon of water to minimize the transplant shock when i transplanted them. It has been a few days now but they are looking much much healthier. I would like to place another order with One Stoppe again and grow some other varieties this fall. I am looking forward to growing some drama queens, gigantiums, and Persian Whites. It was a pleasure doing business with your company and plan on buying more seeds here in the future because, in my case at least, I was very impressed.
