I ordered 15 of these trees/shrubs and they arrived in a box individually wrapped at the pot. Trees were about 9-13 inches tall, including the pot. Very green and healthy. I'll attempt to include my "how-to" video where you can see the trees.

The Nellie R. Stevens Holly is one of the fastest growing, most disease resistant hollies ever bred. These evergreens stay deep green all year, unlike other hedge trees that can brown out during either the summer heat or mild droughts.Shape: Pyramid-shaped evergreen or privacy screenPruning: Let them grow naturally into a dense, pyramidal shape. Plant 5-6 ft. apart for a fast, living wall that will give you complete privacy... no holes... no gaps. They grow up to 3 feet per year unpruned. When they reach the height you want, just clip off the leader. This will slow them down and make them thicken. You can also use hollies to accent the corners of your home, a birm, flower garden or entryway. The dark green foliage makes a great contrast to surrounding trees and shrubs.Flowers or Fruit: During the winter months you will enjoy the red berries against the deep green foliage. Watch as these berries attract all types of birds! They withstand poor soil, drought and neglect.Exposure: Nellie Stevens Hollies grow in sun or partial shadeMoisture: They like well drained soilMaturity:Height 15-25 ft., or prune them into a tall box hedge Spread: 10 feetUsageThis fast growing plant makes attractive hedges and screens in just a matter of a few years.HARDINESS: Zones 6 - 9.

Sugar Tip Hibiscus Rose of Sharon - Creamy/White Tips Review

Sugar Tip Hibiscus Rose of Sharon - Creamy/White Tips
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I really cannot say anything about the flower on the bush. I ordered two of them, and received them in tiny pots, with some type of moss growing all over the top. No buds, no sprouts. I planted one and gave one away. Based on the picture, I thought I would be getting a young bush, with at least a bud if not a few flowers. From the same company (Hirts), and with the same pictures/advertisement, I ordered a White Rose of Sharon, and I received exactly what was pictured...a 9" PLANT loaded with buds, a few open flowers, and black healthy soil. So, depending on how many years you want to wait to have a bush (versus this two inch leafy stick), you might be better off shopping at your local garden stores or using a different Amazon merchant.

Sugar Tip Hibiscus - Hibiscus syriacus. Family: Malvaceae (Hibis-cus: ancient Greek and Latin name, syri-acus: Syrian). The Only Variegated Hibiscus with DOUBLE Blooms! The flower show begins in midsummer and doesn't end till mid-fall! Plant Patent Applied For. How's this for nonstop color from spring through fall Every leaf of this delightful new Rose of Sharon is splashed with creamy white (beginning pale yellow in spring and lightening as the sun grows more intense in summer) around the edges, giving the plant its name of Sugar Tip . A bit more formal in appearance than other Hibiscus, it makes a fine specimen, windbreak, tall foundation plant, and more. But when midsummer arrives and the gorgeous double blooms begin opening, the show really kicks into high gear!
These flowers are as lovely and many-petaled as Roses, boasting a pale lilac-influenced shade of pearly-pink that adds a cooling note to the blazing summer garden. Sugar Tip is sterile, so instead of putting out a few blooms and then making seed, it spends all its energy setting new buds. The result is MONTHS of nonstop blooms lasting all the way through early fall in most climates and even later in areas where frost comes late or not at all. Like most Hibiscus, Sugar Tip is eager to grow and absolutely determined to bloom, no matter what the weather does. Very tolerant of heat and humidity, it puts up with any well-drained soil, and appreciates plenty of water for the best bloom show. The plant you will recieve is growing in a 2 1/4" pot.

AutoWater Nozzle- set of 6 Automatic watering device

These small nozzles are very easy to use. I got 12 of them and use for my pot plants on my patio and for my vegetable garden. Since they use the original cap of soda bottle as a connection to the bottle, they can be fit to any of bottles in my hands. No leaking at all. I also notice that unlike other type of water spikes I used before, these devices made by the small nozzles bubble (watering) only when soil is dry. But, no bubbling when soil is wet. That is exactly my plants looking for. It works great!

The three pots I ordered arrived at exactly the date promised. All three had lush green foliage and some buds and about 6 - 9' high. They were packed and labeled properly with a page of instructions that went with the package. I immediately sprayed water with a few drops of Hormex in the pot and on the leaves to help the roots and the plants grow normally, after a few days in transit. It's now the second day that they are at home near a bright window and I think they are growing or recovering nicely. Over the weekend, I will repot them and put them in a half shaded area in my garden for a week or so before I put them under direct morning sunlight. Thank you, Hirt's Gardens!

Peace Lily Plant - Spathyphyllium - Great House Plant Review

Peace Lily Plant - Spathyphyllium - Great House Plant
Average Reviews:

I wasn't impressed neither with the way my plants were packed nor their size and how they looked [Luckily my plants recovered but they still have some holes in the leaves and brown tips]. I went to our local Home Depot and bought at least four-times bigger and healthier plant for much less than I paid here.

Spathiphyllum the genus name means, literally, "leaf spathe", with spathe defined as "A large bract or pair of bracts sheathing a flower cluster, as a spadix." You're likely to know it as "Peace Lily". Its' widespread interior use is due to its exceptional acclimation to low light conditions. There are approximately 30 different species of Spathiphyllum, some are native to Central and South America. Interestingly, two species are found on the other side of the world, in Malaysia, and one is native to both Costa Rica AND the Philippines. A fascinating plant that has somehow managed to circle the world long before man discovered its beauty. Wherever it is found, it thrives in the deep shade of the humid tropical rainforest understory. The Peace Lily is very different from many plants used today indoors. They let you know quickly when they are dry by a noticeably droop in the foliage. They'll bounce back quickly once watered. The proper time to water them is when the leaves start to droop, just alittle. They are one of the best low light house plants!
The plant you will receive is similar to the one pictured to the left growing in a 4" pot.

Goldfish Plant (Hypocyrta glabra) The Goldfish Plant, from Southern Mexico and Brazil, is a small, indoor, hanging plant with waxy leaves and tiny orange pouched flowers. This plant needs bright light, but avoid full sun. A windowsill facing east seems to be the perfect place for this plant. Trying to keep the plant about 60 degrees in winter is said to encourage flowering. Prune the stems often in winter to encourage bushy growth and flowers. Keep the soil just damp while in flower. This plant will also benefit from fertilizers, but do not feed it in the winter. Also, you should slow the watering of almost all your plants while they're resting in the winter.

The instructions say not to expect anything for 6 weeks, and after 2 weeks I have plants 1-2 inches in height. The leaves are lush green and there is visible growth daily, 5 of 10 seeds have sprouted. So satisfying to see plants germinate and grow. I can't imagine they will look like the picture, but we are off to a great start!

Brussel's Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai Review

Brussel's Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The first tree I ordered was badly scarred by wires. The company replaced it quickly with a very nice tree that had a great shape. The ficus is great if you have little natural light. My apartment is very dark and the tree did fine off of the artificial light. That said, this is NOT a tree for beginners. Ficus are notoriously finicky. They like regular water and the same light conditions day after day. Each time you vary the routiine significantly, it will drop all of its leaves. Moreover, this plant was hard to water. The pot doesn't have enough room for the water to soak in, so I had to use a spray bottle and lots of patience. It needs to be watered daily.
In short: good choice if you just don't have any good light, bad, bad choice for a first Bonsai or if you are forgetful or travel.

I would say that 8 out of 10 of the seeds I plant have produced sprouts, which is a satisfactory result. At the moment my oldest plants are about four feet high and almost ready to sprout and I can't wait to see the head. I live in a very hot and humid enviornment, and these flowers have so far been doing beautifully. Like most tall sunflower varieties, these Titans do require staking.

Healthy, nutritious and attractive, Sunflowers have it all! Sunflowers have delicious seeds, are high in protein, attract birds, and make a popular cooking oil, too.
Sunflowers are also great for kids. The seeds are big and easy to handle, and they require minimal attention. Kids like to grow big things, so a sunflower fits the bill. The end product is not only eye appealing, but makes a great snack. We put Sunflowers, along with pumpkins, as the top two plants for kids to grow!
