As sweet as the smell of success. But easier to come by. This everblooming Jasmine has bushy growth and does particularly well on windowsills. We find that the fragrance of the white flowers somehow clears the air. So set one of these plants on the sill, set yourself in a nearby chair and...easy now...breathe in. You will discover what others have discovered: the clarity of this fragrance is unrivaled in all of nature. It is well known in Asia for its use in teas and religious observances. Also known as the 'Arabian Tea Jasmine,' it is the National Flower of the Philippines, where it is known as 'Sampaguita.' Outside it is hardy to Zone 8 and higher. Full sun, grows to 1-2' in container, minimum temperature 60 degrees, everbloomer.
The plant you will receive is growing in a 6 inch pot. It is about 12" tall, very full, and budded.

Red Brazilian Jasmine Plant - Indoors/Out - Mandevilla Review

Red Brazilian Jasmine Plant - Indoors/Out - Mandevilla

I bought this a few months ago and it is still flowering, non-stop since it arrived. It is potted and outdoors - in direct sun...for a few weeks it was in partial sun and we had a rain spell (days and days) and it didn't have time to dry out and the leaves started getting yellow toward the bottom. I moved it back to full sun and have been trying to move it under the patio when it rains so it doesn't get drenched but am still getting a few yellow leaves-so I don't know what the problem is or if it needs more "dry time" but aside from a few yellow leaves toward the bottom, it still seems totally healthy. Not a fast grower - but hardy and sturdy and constantly flowering. If this yellow leaf issue at the bottom doesn't get worse and it continues to flower like this, it's well worth the money. I don't mind slow growth as long as there is growth - and it's grown about 2 inches. I woudln't have noticed the growth at all but since I never grew this plant before, I took a photo when I planted it - it's the best way to know if something's growing, changing, getting better or worse when I am growing an unfamiliar plant.
