(More customer reviews)The bride purchased some high dollar heart-shaped floating wedding candles and I ordered these candles as backup in case she needed them. The heart-shaped ones were almost burned out 5 minutes after they were lit, and there was excess wax overflowing into the pool. These Biedermann and Sons floating candles were then used and were GREAT! They floated smoothly, did not have excess wax, lasted a long time (I have several I can reuse), and everyone agreed, had a far brighter light. The candles burned evenly, too, while the heart-shaped ones lost their shape quickly and just looked like blobs of wax floating in the pool!
We were concerned because we used them in a swimming pool with a plastic liner. While they did sometimes float near the walls, the round shape kept the flame from getting near the liner. We did keep an eye out, tho, as a precaution.
I will be purchasing these candles again in different colors and plan to always have them on hand. They are the perfect floating candle, especially for the swimming pool.
