(More customer reviews)I started a DWC system/Bubble ponics in a 5 gal black bucket and a 6" net lid. I planted the 4"x4" Rock wool cube in the 6" net and filled the Hydroton around to the top. *NOTICE* this part is very important and I failed to read the directions. Wash them first. Now, because I didn't I thought it would kill my plants, but to my surprise PH levels were perfect, PPM was within range it just colored the water. Three days later we are right on schedule and growth is fantastic. I will remove today and flush and fill with fresh today, but my point is that even if you do the same just watch your PPM,EC & PH and you'll be just fine. I will keep using these forever. I love them.

Hydroton clay pebbles or rocks are made from pH neutral clay. Their air to moisture ratio makes them ideal for hydroponics.
