(More customer reviews)The colors and design of this "happy snowman" initially attracted me to this particular stocking. I hadn't done any needlework for decades, but took the plunge in order to get it completed for my grandson. The threads were all clearly marked, organized and labeled on two separate cards that easily kept the threads untangled. The printed canvas, well-marked pattern and thread color legend were all very easy to follow. However, the patterned bands above and below the name strip were plain white on the pattern, which threw me off a bit. I did finally see that the actual pattern for those areas was above the stocking pattern instead of on it. The stocking took a tremendous amount of time to complete yet I am so glad I did it and am looking for another Dimensions stocking that will complement it. I found and bought a sweet cotton print that I used to line the stocking. Also, the eye of the needle that was included in the kit was a bit too small so I switched to a bigger one that speeded threading and got along much, much better. I am a bit concerned that the white fluff pom pom that's sewn onto the snowman's hat will not hold up well over the years. Regardless, this really has turned into a beautiful, fun piece.
