(More customer reviews)I work in a hospital where glass vases are not safe in patient areas, so when family would bring flowers in glass vases, we'd put them in plastic or styrofoam cups.
These are much nicer to use, and a casual observer would think they were glass. It's a bonus that they store flat.
Here's a hint if you buy them: the directions are pretty sketchy about how to get them to work. When I first used them, I put in some warm water but they didn't expand the way I thought they would, so I couldn't get them to stand up. Someone had to show me how to open up the bottom (pull apart the two sides that formed the bottom) and then they filled up just fine...subsequent uses didn't require opening up the bottom to get them to work,they did it on their own.
I felt kind of stupid.
