(More customer reviews)This is a very pretty set and affordable BUT...BEWARE. Lenox says it is dishwasher safe. They lie. I put the pot in the diswasher to remove the tea stains(all alone on the top rack with reservations) It turns out I was right....The butterfly wings fell off from the dishwasher spray. It was not roughly handled or in a place that anything could have touched it but water. Lenox by the way DOES NOT warranty it for falling apart when used as instructed and stands by the "dishwasher safe" label. It will cost $30 to replace the pot under their 50% off breakage warranty and they won't sell you a lid only.

(More customer reviews)I bought this primarily because I figured I could not go wrong at the price it was offered at. Amazon is selling this set for far cheaper than anyone else online. I was really very pleased when this product arrived today. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mother and she is going to be blown away. The tea pot is large, not overly, but it is certainly not a dainty piece. The cream and sugar pieces are lovely. Very high quality detailing, the gold is not gawdy. Comes very very well packaged. I am glad I bought some other pieces to match on a whim, hoping that the tea set would be beautiful. I received the matching tea cups and coffee pot. Also beautiful though the coffee pot did not come in its own packing box (it did arrive intact). If you are looking for a lovely piece of china that is proud to display but usable for company, I highly recommend this set.
