(More customer reviews)I have never been passionate about a candle before. But for over 10 years I have been chasing Trapp candles down and buying as many as I can when I find them. How delighted I was to see that Amazon has been making them readily available. The richness and purity of the scents is par none. The finest rich parfum goes into every Trapp votive, and once you revel in their scent, you will know the quality of their workmanship. They use lead-free wicks and a blend of fully refined paraffin and soy wax for an optimal burn time of 20 hours for votives and up to 50 hours for their large poured candles.
The scent is also long-lasting. I have kept unburned candle (No. 4 Orange-Vanilla) next to my bedside for over a year and it still sends me off to blissful dreams with its warm summery scent (think creamsicles and sunshine). Every room has it's own scent. I love the Sweet Honeysuckle (No. 33) in the kitchen... a crisp, clean, sweet scent, without being overly floral or the luscious No. 12 Guava Mango. And for gathering areas, I recommend the No. 14 Mediterranean Fig: warm, plush, and intriguing.
But don't stop there. Trapp offers about 30 different scents that you'll soon want to make your own.

(More customer reviews)Now that I have purchased both the lavender and mint mojito candles as gifts, I keep hoping someone will buy one for me. These have strong, true-to-title scents and a simple, classic look that can fit into any home's decor. (I love the mint mojito - it's not boozy, obviously, but still reminds me of muddled limes and fresh mint leaves.) Just one of these candles will fill an entire room with its smell, though, so don't light too many at once!
I give the product four stars, as I haven't burned one all the way through yet.

(More customer reviews)Some time ago we were fortunate enough to be invited to tour a home built by reknown architect Richard Meier. It is, of course, a showplace. The house alone would have been a joy to see, but it holds an extensive art collection which had recently been bequeathed to the city. Everything within the house was the finest, thus I wasn't at all surprised to find Red Flower candles in the powder rooms. One more reminder that Red Flower candles are appreciated by those who want the very best.
For me, it's impossible to select a favorite fragrance from Red flower. Let's just say Indian Jasmine is wonderful. It's an intense rather heady scent rich in jasmine sambac, neroli, ylang-ylang, tangerine and indian jasmine. It's a fragrance for the evening, one for romantic moonlit nights.
In addition to the 6 oz. candle topped with scented petals, Indian Jasmine is also available in a flower soap and a 1.5 oz. flower candle.
For those who have not experienced the unique Red Flower candles, the petals are removed before burning. They may be scattered where you wish or used as a potpourri.
