I use mine inside my house as a beautiful "color therapy" psychologicaly uplifting, multi tasking, very useful center piece of my home! I get more very favorable coments about this planter than anything I have ever owned (except my sharpei doggy). The price was better than any regular, "boring" and heavy ceramic planter that I could find locally.
Word of caution. The planter uses a lot of depth to house the internal chamber for the light bulb. Certainly more than a third (maybe one half) of the entire height of the planter is used up by this chamber and supporting plastic walls to keep water out. No dirt or plant can occupy this large chamber. Due to this the planter is quite shallow! Plan ahead for this! So far my elephant palm loves being the center of attention! You won't believe the interest and suprise from your guests!
