(More customer reviews)My 2 cats love this wall-mounted scratcher. It's held up surprisingly well over the past 2 months, however, bits of cardboard do get scratched off, so it's not going to last forever, obviously. Of course, at some point I can reverse the exposed side, to get more use out of it. My complaint is that although it's quite stylish (looking like a piece of abstract art), it is a tad overpriced for cardboard. Also, it does not come with the wall-mount brackets, as evidently it is marketed as usable simply lain upon the floor. My cats did not seem to appreciate it, however, until I had it up on the wall. The price of the wall brackets (to be reviewed separately) is even more outlandish, but I see no easy or safe alternative method to mount the scratcher. In conclusion, I would say that it looks way better and is a nice alternative to those usually off-color carpet-type scratching posts that can be hard to fit in a small apartment, and my cats prefer this to those overwhelmingly. They would give it 5 stars. However, for the price being charged, it really should come with the mounting brackets.
