(More customer reviews)I've just started learning embroidery and cross stitch, and I had a lot of fun with this kit. The stitches include half cross, french knots, chain stitch and back stitch, so I learned a lot. The stitches required anything from one thread to four threads at once, and sometimes mixed two colors together, something I had thought about trying. The instructions were helpful with everything from stitch types to framing, and the chart was very detailed so I could see exactly where the chain stitches started and stopped. The thread was beautifully shaded and the finished product is amazing. I can't believe I managed to produce this with my pitiful beginner skills.
I haven't done that many kits, but this one took me about three months to complete in my spare time.
Well worth every penny. I will be looking for more kits by this manufacturer.
