Wilton Ready To Use Gum Paste Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to finish a job in a hurry, and it was about what I expected. I typically use Satin Ice, which I feel is a superior product, but much harder and more expensive to get. Wilton is sold in most craft and cookery shops, and is much more readily available, but I find the taste and consistency is not as good.
Pros: Ease of use. It's so nice not to have to mix your own gum paste! This is a good sized bag for a cake or two, depending on how many figures or flowers you need to make. It also comes in a re-sealable bag, so if you only need half of it, you can store the rest for your next job without risking it drying out. It was also easy to tint and mold.
Cons: As above, quality is not as good as Satin Ice in my opinion. The flowers I made with the Wilton's dried very quickly, and some of them cracked as they dried, so had to be remade.

But, what a nightmare to put together!!! The instructions were pictural, and did not clearly establish which pieces went where--it could be put together several ways without looking as pictured. Once together, though, very nice!

Miracle Gro Bloom Booster is the right formulation to feed already grown plants to get them to bloom often and with large blooms.
I use both foods, but at different times of the year.
The labels of each will give you the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash.
